Main Service Desk
The main service desk in the lobby of Boatwright provides services for check-out and for information assistance. Use the “Check Out” side of the desk to check out or return books, laptop computers and keys for group or individual study rooms with a university ID. The libraries’ reserves system provides access to course readings assigned by professors. A hard copy may be checked out from the desk for a short time. Electronic Reserves can be accessed from any computer on campus.
The “Information” side is staffed with Reference Librarians or Reference Associates who can help you find information on particular topics, search print and electronic resources, and use the Internet. They can also answer questions about the services and resources of the University of Richmond Libraries. Librarians are also willing to meet with you individually or consult with you via email or phone.
