Special Borrowers and Community Borrowers
Boatwright Memorial Library is open to members of the Richmond area community. We provide access to our specialized material for community members who are unable to access similar materials elsewhere. For borrowing information, refer to the categories below. Access to U.S. government information in any format is available for the general public.
Guest accounts for use of library public computers can be requested at the Information and Assistance Desk on the first floor of the library. Guests must bring a photo ID to obtain a guest account. Guest account access is limited. During some periods, guest accounts may be restricted at the discretion of library staff, especially during exam periods.
Internet access is available through the “VisitUR” wireless network and a web browser on your personal devices. This is not a secured wireless network. Sending or receiving sensitive information is discouraged. Terms and conditions apply.
