JOB SUMMARY:
Assist with research projects and initiatives at the Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL). Specific duties and workflows vary by project.
EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Analyze and georeference historic maps using GIS.
- Transcribe and perform data entry based on historic documents.
- Convert digital materials between various formats.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should be detail-oriented and ready to learn new research skills. Familiarity with Geographic Information Software (GIS) is desirable, but training will be provided on the job as needed. This position is open to students from all disciplines.
